During his studies he played in the productions Máxima, Rent, Into the Woods and Sweeney Todd. After graduation, Harms played in Sleeping Beauty, Jeans 14 and 15, Rembrandt and Les Misérables, among others. He also provided choreography for an amateur game choir and he provides wigs for various amateur productions.

In addition, Harms gave solo shows in various theaters in March and May 2009. In 2009 he also participated in the concert series Psalms & Hymns, in which he performed with Jan Vayne. In August 2007, Harms released his first single, Just As I Am.

In 2009 he collaborated on the single Together We Will Stand, together with Tony Neef and Maaike Widdershoven, among others, which was published for the project Star memorial tree.

In October 2009 Harms released his first solo CD, Can’t-Wait. This album contains songs written partly for him, partly covers. Nurlaila Karim and Cor Bakker also contributed to this album. Furthermore, this album was accompanied by a mini-theater tour, during which Harm’s own work sang in the Rode Hoed in Amsterdam, on October 2, 2009, and the Zuidplein theater in Rotterdam, on October 17, 2009.
